Best Black Friday 2019 video game deals: Nintendo, Xbox, PS4, more

Nintendo's dedicated handheld has a plethora of fantastic games in its library, but it's undoubtedly being left by the wayside following the introduction of the Switch, and - more recently - the Switch Lite, which is itself a dedicated handheld, scrapping the functionality of connecting to your telly, but retaining the library of Switch games which are significantly more mainstream than its smaller sibling.

The Black Friday sales are still going, and while some gaming console deals have already expired or sold out (most major retailers launched their deals earlier in the week), there are still loads of deals on games to get your hands on. Don't worry though, because there are other awesome Switch deals you can still get! For gamers, it's often a time of year for stocking up on goodies ahead of the festive season; the official day is Today, Friday 29th November 2019, but discounts arrive over the broader Black Friday "weekend" and into Cyber Monday, 2nd December 2019.

Game Pass, meanwhile, gives subscribers unlimited access to over 100 games, including brand new Xbox One and Windows exclusives. So it's possible this deal won't last long. The rest of the best deals we've seen are rounded up below. However, there are also some significant discounts on Xbox gaming gear, third-party laptops from companies such as HP, and even software such as the suite of Office applications.

The shopping holiday is also a great time to stock up on games.

You can pick up handsets like the Apple iPhone XR, Honor 8S, Huawei P Smart, and Samsung Galaxy A20e at low rates, with the free gifts thrown in as the icing on the cake.

A note that prices were accurate when this article was published.

Nintendo Switches are also a hot ticket item. That's set to change this year, at least in the United States, with a selection of first-party games for $30!
