Devlin Hodges replaces Mason Rudolph, finds James Washington for 79-yard TD

Mason Rudolph benched by the Steelers vs. winless Bengals

After benching quarterback for Devlin Hodges in the Pittsburgh Steelers' win on Sunday over the Cincinnati Bengals, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said he's now undecided on who will start at QB next Sunday for the team.

Rudolph was 8-for-16 for 85 yards and an interception and his Steelers were losing 7-3 in the third quarter to the hapless Bengals.

That's Hodges to James Washington for 79 yards and the score. He will earn a base salary of $658,267 this season. The situation quickly went from the two traded words to Garrett ripping off Rudolph's helmet and striking him with it, which drew him an indefinite suspension - and a denied appeal - and ignited a larger scrum between the two teams.

During Week 12, the Pittsburgh Steelers QB was benched after struggling against the Cincinnati Bengals, which brought in Devlin Hodges who threw for more yards in less attempts as well as a touchdown that would prove to be the game victor.

That's the second career touchdown pass for the rookie out of Samford. Devlin Hodges now the Steelers' QB.

Tomlin declined to disclose the quarterback plan going forward.

"Just felt like our offense needed a spark", Tomlin said. Generally, he took care of the ball.
