These being official cases, you don't need to buy any third-party cases. It now includes the double camera setup of the iPhone XS and XS Max, but the real highlight is a price tag that might once again overshadow Apple's more premium handsets.

Apple is launching new versions of its Smart Battery Case this week. According to Apple, the cases are created to provide up to 50 percent longer battery life to each iPhone when fully charged for longer talk time, internet use, and audio and video playback.

Smart Battery Case for iPhone 11 Pro Max: Up to 50% longer battery life, equivalent to an extra 10 hours of video playback, 6 hours of streamed video playback, and 40 hours of talk time. The standard 11 case, however, is only available in Soft White and Black. One of the interesting things about these cases is that they come with built-in rechargeable battery. That's because of the smart integration in iOS itself, allowing you to see the case battery charge level in the Batteries widget. Apple says, the Smart Battery Cases offer up to 50 percent additional battery life to your iPhones. This button is exclusive to this case and when pressed, launches the iPhone's Camera app even if the iPhone is locked. A tap takes a picture and longer press captures QuickTake video.

The $129.00 case has other features too. They also support Lightning accessories, such as the EarPods with Lightning Connector.

As with last year's models, the new Smart Battery Case is also Qi-certified and so you can charge both the case and the phone within using a wireless charger.
