In a Congressional hearing, Marie Yovanovitch, the former US ambassador to Ukraine, disputed the idea that the Ukrainian establishment was working against then-candidate Donald Trump.

In one particularly viral moment, she called out House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff for being in favor of the Trump whistleblower testifying - before he was against it.

Maloney also responded to an accusation that Hunter Biden benefited from the former vice president's role by bringing up Trump's own children.

On "This Week", Stewart doubted that Yovanovitch was intimidated by Trump's tweet and questioned including the president's tweet in the impeachment inquiry.
