BlizzCon brings new Diablo Immortal details

BlizzCon 2019 opening ceremony: Where and when to watch

Diablo Immortal, the original Blizzard controversy, is still a work in progress

While Blizzard would not want to exclude anyone from playing their games, an internet connection is common enough that many games prompt a update to be downloaded even at launch. Adham said they "we have our eyes on it", when asked if they're prepared for Diablo IV on next-generation consoles.

The game will also include a new base game mechanic called Ultimate Abilities. Blizzard also says that the cosmetics and achievements players earned in the original game will carry over to Overwatch 2, so you don't need to worry about leaving expansive loot collections behind. Blizzard may fill us in on a particular reason for this un-feature, but it may just a way of keeping an eye on how the game is being played. And indeed we did, as Blizzard officially announced Diablo IV at BlizzCon 2019, giving fans of the decades-old franchise a taste of the sequel's story, as well as an early look at the gameplay and grittier art style. More maps, including Rio de Janeiro, Göteborg and Monte Carlo, can be expected.

We'll change our readers when now we've got further information. "It's simply that we don't know. More importantly, it'll mean victories are neither clean nor guaranteed". Additionally, Overwatch 2 will also feature a level progression system of sorts.

That might not be quite what we get in Overwatch 2 though, as Chu explains: "I think one of the themes we are interested in exploring in Overwatch is heroism". However, streamers at BlizzCon 2019 were allowed to Livestream the game for a certain amount of time, where some of them have managed to engulf a couple of good answers from the developers.

That said, Blizzard has reassured fans that it'll continue to support Overwatch 1 with new content.
