Huawei's reputation as an Apple imitator is only getting stronger. It's going to be called Huawei MatePad Pro, and not MediaPad M7, as previously rumored.

The tablet also doesn't have a capacitive fingerprint sensor which leads us to believe that it'll have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

This newest product from Huawei which is presently forbidden from transport Android gadgets with Google software program and providers, is predicted to compete with Apple iPad Professional and Samsung Galaxy Tab S6. Apart from this, if you look at other leaks, this device can also be given stylus support with a magnetic keyboard. The renders even show the detachable keyboard, which is a spitting image of Apple's Smart Folio (sorry, no touchpad).

The leaked images, brought to light by 91mobiles, show a tablet that looks suspiciously similar to the iPad Pro, except for the fact that it features a hole-punch camera in the corner. This was done to accommodate those thin bezels and hopefully won't be too much of a distraction when you're watching videos. The tablet will have a USB Type-C port at the bottom with speakers on either side. Thanks to the Huawei ban, the company can't use any of the Google Mobile Services (GMS) including the Play Store, limiting the apps available on the devices, and it's likely that's the case with the MatePad Pro too.

There's no word yet on when the tablet is expected to be released but we'll be ready to put it through its paces in a full review when it does.
