Four People Killed Five Injured in Shooting in Kansas City Suspect Still at Large- Reports

Four people were killed and five injured when a shooting erupted at a busy bar in Kansas City, Kan. early Sunday morning, police said.

They were able to get in because the because the bar's security guard was out sick, Valdez said.

Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly says the state is mourning the victims of "yet another mass shooting". A motive is now unknown.

A hard scene - emotional reaction as friends and relatives mourn Everado Meza, Francisco Garcia-Anaya, Alfredo Calderon and a fourth victim, who police haven't identified yet.

Authorities have not identified the victims, but local resident Juan Ramirez told the Kansas City Star on Sunday that his 29-year-old nephew was among those killed.

4 folks have been shot and an extra 5 injured after a person walked right into a bar and opened hearth, police have stated.

He said at least two people have been released from the hospital.

Police are investigating whether one of the suspects was involved in an incident in the bar earlier in the evening. A day later, a gunman killed nine people and wounded 27 others in a separate shooting in Dayton, Ohio.

Senator Jerry Moran also tweeted he was praying for the victim's families.

Shots were fired at about 01:30 local time (06:30 GMT) at Tequila KC, a private, members-only bar in the city centre.
