Highs on Thursday and Friday will be even cooler with readings in the low to mid 80s. More rain chances will move in for the weekend. The risk for a strong to severe storm will remain in the forecast through tonight, with the possibility of damaging wind gusts and hail. Showers will die out during the evening followed by partly cloudy skies and low temperatures near 76 degrees. Temperatures will warm back up into the mid 90s with heat index values nearing 105°.
While we start this morning off quiet, we will set the stage for scattered storms to break out this afternoon and this evening. Mostly sunny, with upper 60s and low 70s for the drive into work this morning.
Highs Tuesday will top out in the mid 80s. The leftover storms coming through in the middle of the night have a hope of a few tenths of an inch of rain for Lower Michigan. Cloudy conditions will permeate most of the day, although some sun beams may poke through in the late afternoon. While I can't rule out an isolated shower/storm, much of the day will be rain free.
