MediaTek says that its combination of CPU, GPU, and APU delivers up to 1TMACs performance. The start will apparently belong to Xiaomi, which is supposed to unleash its first Helio G90T-powered pretty soon - a piece of information revealed by the company's Global VP during today's launch event. You'll also notice the AnTuTu score for this chipset are attached below and it sure is comparable to Snapdragon 730 on the Redmi K20, as seen in our own Benchmark tests.
The new Helio G90 is an octa-core processor that has clock speeds of up to 2.05GHz with Arm Cortex-A-76 and Cortex-A55 paired with Arm Mali-G76GPU with speeds of up to 800MHz.
These are wonderful #gaming chipsets - Cortex A76 CPU, Mali G76 GPU & Antutu 220K. Further, the Helio G90 and Helio G90T both have LTE Cat-12 network support. The Helio G90 is, on the other hand, created to work with 60Hz displays and handle up to 8GB RAM as well as a 48-megapixel sensor on triple camera setup. The G90 and G90T include MediaTek's HyperEngine game technology smartphone for the best possible gaming experience possible. MediaTek claims that the engine can offer up to a 50 percent faster response than competing solutions in a crowded network environment.
You'll also be able to connect to two Wi-Fi bands at the same time, or even two routers simultaneously. The HyperEngine technology also brings features such as Call and Data Concurrency, Resource Management Engine, and a Picture Quality Engine. As for optics, the new Helio G90 series supports a single 64MP and 48MP sensors along with dual 24MP+16MP camera sensor. In addition, there is support for HDR10 standard with 10-bit Color Depth for vivid visuals on HDR-enabled smartphone displays.
