In a recent interview with CD Projekt Red UI Director, Alvin Liu, Wccftech (via Techradar) asked how Cyberpunk 2077 is being optimised for these platforms as well as low-end PCs. Really, who could expect anything less from a game from the developer of The Witcher 3 that lets you partner up with Keanu Reeves and has a prequel table-top game in the works? During its E3 2019 press conference the platform holder revealed some early details including preliminary specs and features, though only gave a "Holiday 2020" launch window. This is definitely not the case in Cyberpunk 2077. It's about more than recognizing the player's choices; it's also about showing the consequences of those choices in-game rather than in an ending screen or scene.
CD Projekt Red has partnered with Dark Horse Comics to create a 200-page tome including everything fans would want to know about Cyberpunk 2077 and Night City.
Cracking open The World of Cyberpunk 2077, you'll be able to see how everything from geopolitics to gang struggles have shaped the current state of the world. The publisher is responsible for Hellboy, The Mask, Sin City, and has even made corresponding comic books for Conan and Star Wars.
The book is published by Dark Horse Books and looks like it will get both a hardcover and Kindle release. It's a pretty substantial product, too, given all the book will have to offer. That is, if you can put it down long enough to finish reading it, anyway.
Right now, it appears The World of Cyberpunk 2077 is only available to preorder through Amazon. The book will officially come out next year, April 21st, 2020.
