While there is no direct indication as to who she is referring to, the fandom is pretty convinced that this is a call out for Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta about their recent disputes about the masters of her six albums. The intervening years have seen Swift ascend to the highest echelon of pop stardom, but now the singer's fans will have the opportunity to journey back to those early days.

The live concert incidentally marked her first public appearance since she got embroiled in a battle with Braun over his purchase of Big Machine Records, a label through which she launched her career.

Taylor was the headlining act for Amazon's Prime Day Concert and during her performance of "Shake It Off" it's quite obvious that she threw some shade at Scooter when she added emphasis on a statement about cheaters and liars.
