Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed their second signing this week with the Premier League side announcing the much anticipated signing of Tanguy Ndombele, just their second signing in a day, 18 months after the last.
Leeds have agreed a one-year loan deal for Wolves forward Helder Costa which will become a permanent transfer next summer.
Assuming there are no last minute complications, Ndombele is set to seal his move to the new White Hart Lane and his signing will be a huge statement of intent from Tottenham as the French global has become one of the hottest properties in Europe.
Jack Clarke has joined Spurs from Leeds United.
The 22-year-old, who was also linked with Juventus and Manchester United, has made four appearances for the French national team.
Before this week, Spurs had not signed a new player since Lucas Moura's arrival from PSG in January 2018.
Clarke signs for the North London club after featuring for Championship side on 25 occasions last season, in which he netted two goals against Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.
Costa shone for Wolves in the Championship while on loan from Benfica in the first half of the 2016/17 season.
"I can't wait to play at Elland Road soon, it is a big stadium and I'm sure the atmosphere will be great and I am ready for the challenge", he continued.
Clarke has returned to Leeds on loan for the 2019/20 season.
