Keanu Reeves Is In Talks To Join The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige confirmed he has had discussions with Keanu Reeves about a potential role in an upcoming Marvel film.

Reeves has been on a roll lately with his sequel John Wick: Chapter 3 earning $277 million worldwide since its release in May. Foodie. Yes, Keanu Reeves - aka Ted Logan, aka Neo, aka Sandra Bullock's forever on-screen love interest - enjoys the pleasures of eating just like the rest of us.

But he did at least confirm - yes, Marvel has actually been talking with Keanu for "almost every film we make". I do not know when, if, or ever he will join the MCU, but we want to figure out just the right way to do it, ' he told the site.

However, Feige suggested that Keanu has not committed to that project either at this time.

"Adam Warlock was created to be the most flawless human and everybody can agree that Keanu Reeves is already the most ideal human there is", wrote one Twitter user.

Other fan-favourite actors Feige was asked about included Ip Man's Donnie Yen and Stranger Things' Milli Bobby Brown but while he called them both "good actors", he said that there was not anything specific in the pipeline for them as of yet.

"It's still early days, but it's been a fun exercise, and it's one, by the way, that we've been doing for years."

While speaking with CinemaBlend during the recent premiere for Spider-Man: Far From Home, Feige gave his thoughts on how he would incorporate these mutant characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not that I know either of them but in my imagination, they totally vibe. Reeves played-to perfection-an exaggerated, insufferable, and completely hilarious version of himself in Ali Wong and Randall Park's Netflix rom-com, Always Be My Maybe. "If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there'll be a deleted scene, a lithe tribute, and a few surprises".
