OJ Simpson reportedly joins Twitter with 'a little gettin' even to do'

O.J. Simpson is on Twitter. In his video, he said he had some "getting even to do".

Simpson didn't elaborate was "getting even" actually meant, but those who know about his notorious murder case might find that comment a bit unsettling.

Simpson also mentioned that viewers will get to read his "thoughts and opinions on just about everything".

One individual seemed to try and offer a response to this question: "To all the [people] asking 'how could you follow a monster like oj simpson?!?' I can only answer this: an unquenchable thirst for content".

Simpson created his official account on Friday, June 14, with the username @TheRealOJ32-a reference to his jersey number from his National Football League fame days. That's a sizable wave of responses for an account that had gained roughly 97,000 followers in its first few hours. So, it should be a lot of fun.

Nicole Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman, were stabbed outside of her home in 1994.

The 72-year-old has slowly started to embrace the spotlight after serving nine years in a Nevada prison for armed robbery. "So God bless, and take care".

In a freaky video posted to the account, a smiling Simpson said his followers would get to read all his thoughts and opinions on "just about everything". The trial captured the attention of the world, especially when the famous NFL Hall of Fame member was tried and acquitted by a jury in 1995.

Just before Friday turned into Saturday, Twitter gained a new account.

In a separate civil trial, he was found liable in a wrongful death lawsuit brought by the victims' families.

He has continued to declare his innocence in the two slayings. Simpson is a common sight around Las Vegas and often poses for selfies with fans and others.

His lawyer, LaVergne, insisted that Simpson "will not be negative" on Twitter, calling him "the most positive person I've ever met". O.J. Simpson eventually surrendered in the driveway of his home.
