MacBook Pro 2019: Everything you need to know!

The new MacBook Pro is available now, starting from $1,799 for the 13-inch model and $2,399 for the 15-inch.

The top-end 15-inch MacBook Pro now comes with an updated Core i9 processor, with speeds up to 4.8 GHz. "Apple made the keyboard thinner and thinner and thinner, and those trade-offs are biting". The Touch Bar-equipped 13-inch model starts at Rs 1,59,900. It gains 14nm "Coffee Lake Refresh" 9th-generation Intel processors with six and eight cores.

Interestingly, Apple's press release makes no mention of the MacBook Pro's keyboard.

The 15-inch model is receiving Intel's 9th Gen Core processors.

With the MacBook Pro 2019, Apple introduces its first 8-core MacBook Pro, the fastest Mac notebook ever.

Apple has also announced changes to its keyboard replacement program, which now includes all MacBooks with the butterfly keyboard mechanism, which is nearly all current and recent MacBook models.

Blackmagic Design has created two external GPUs (eGPUs) that work with the MacBook Pro. In fact, the non-Touch Bar models have remained unchanged since 2017. It added that "the vast majority of Mac notebook customers are having a positive experience".

Apple on Tuesday also said it has sped up the time it takes for a keyboard to be repaired.

Now, Apple is ensuring all the Butterfly keyboards are covered by its fix program. These include newer versions of MacBook, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models. This announcement reduces the expectations for that announcement, at least somewhat. The MacBook Pro lineup now comes in a range of configurations depending the performance demand of the user.

Another thing worth pointing out is that Apple has once again left the non-Touch Bar models of the MacBook Pro out in the cold.

Apple's highest-end MacBook Pro laptops are getting even more powerful.

Apple has faced criticism over its laptop keyboard design.

With both the 13- and 15-inch models, you can choose between silver and space gray, and they're available now on Apple's online store and in Apple retail stores and independent Apple-authorized resellers.

Apple has been through all kinds of hardware controversies over the years, many of which have had far more lofty names than they truly deserved, but the case of the butterfly keyboards has been long-standing and widespread.
