For those of you lucky enough to be included in developer's program or it's Beta Software program, the company is now releasing the third build versions of it's many softwares, including iOS 12.3 build number 16F5139e, watchOS 5.2.1 build number 16U5101c, tvOS 12.3 build number 16M5139a, and macOS 10.14.5 build number 18F118d. With Siri Shortcuts the apps can efficiently work with the virtual voice assistant Siri.
Yesterday we saw a video showing off the new features in iOS 12.3 beta 3, we also saw some speed tests earlier today and now we have another video. Another possibility here is that we might be seeing the Shortcuts app available on Mac. Since there is now going to be support for Siri Shortcuts on the entire macOS 10.15 system, we expect that this is where the acquisition of the Workflow app will come into play.
In order to use the Shortcuts app, you have to download it through Apple's App Store. When the user reaches the preset time limit, they will get a notification and also an option to close the app.
On the iPad side, there's only one thing that is missing - a powerful operating system. That means you either will need to close out of that app or enter a set passcode to unlock the app and continue using it.
We are also excited about other features that will be coming to Mac sometime this summer.
"According to sources, engineers are also working on bringing the assistant on macOS closer to its iOS counterpart by porting over features such as the ability to set timers and alarms and ask about air quality, now unavailable on the Mac", the report added. It is recommended not to install the beta version of these OS versions on the primary device as they are unfinished versions and may lead to loss of data and more if something goes wrong.
As well as changes to Siri, it's expected that Apple will introduce Screen Time to the Mac for the first time, following its successful introduction on iOS 12 a year ago.
