The Mueller report identified a series of episodes involving U.S. President Donald Trump that the special counsel considered potential obstructions of justice. And the Mueller Report made clear that the Special Counsel, even setting aside the OLC opinion, was sensitive to the fact that a prosecution of a sitting President would "place burdens on the President's capacity to govern".
The president doesn't appear willing to let the investigation go quietly into the night, declaring "the Russian Federation hoax is dead" and that "haters" are trying to stir up trouble. "There were no crimes by me (No Collusion, No Obstruction), so you can't impeach".
"I thank Attorney General Barr for his efforts to be transparent and follow the letter of the law, and Special Counsel Mueller for his team's diligence over the last two years".
'Mueller put the next step in the hands of Congress: "Congress has authority to prohibit a President's corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice"' she wrote - quoting a line Mueller included in his report.
The report also confirms that the President had asked FBI Director James Comey to go easy on Micheal Flynn, Mr. Trump's original pick for National Security Adviser.
Forty percent said they thought Trump should be impeached, while 42 percent said he should not.
He echoed Democratic leadership's calls for Mueller to testify before Congress.
Additionally, while Mueller's long-awaited report cleared Trump of criminal conspiracy with the Kremlin, federal prosecutors in Southern District of NY have suggested Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator in the hush money payments that resulted in felony convictions.
"Let the process play itself out", he said on CNN's State of the Union program. But his report provides invaluable insight into the President's unethical (and apparently criminal) behavior.
Jerrold Nadler, Chairman of House Judiciary Committee, criticized Barr for his decision to speak about the report at a press conference. So it was something of a surprise Saturday when the White House emailed reporters three pictures, taken by an official photographer, of Trump in his golf gear alongside Rush Limbaugh, the conservative radio firebrand whose audience Trump has deemed essential to his political future.
Julian Castro, former housing secretary under President Barack Obama and another 2020 contender, joined Ms Warren in backing the launch of impeachment proceedings. This reluctance is not a reflection of any particular fondness for Donald Trump - Democratic leaders fear the political ramifications of impeachment.
Trump, who is spending the Easter weekend at his Mar-a-Lago estate, in Palm Beach County, Florida, also used Twitter boast of his record as president, declaring that unemployment was at a 50 year low, and that 'the economy is doing GREAT!
He also said Congress needed to look at Mr Trump's finances and gauge Mr Mueller's intentions with his report. However, Mueller did not reach a conclusion on the ultimate question of whether the President obstructed justice.
