OnePlus CEO Pete Lau released the first official teaser of the OnePlus 7 which he claims is "Fast and Smooth". However now, a new rumor hints that OnePlus might launch the OnePlus 7 handset on 14 May. Here's everything we know about the upcoming devices.

OnePlus 7 is expected to come with a full HD+ display, whereas the OnePlus 7 Pro could feature a dual curved edge display with QHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the 5G version will get a model number GM1920.

OnePlus has been repeatedly leaked and rumoured with a pop-up selfie camera.

Now this might not sound (pun intended) like a big deal, but honestly, stereo speakers make a huge difference, and the OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to come with stereo speakers (finally!). The smartphone will have a triple camera set up at the back, which will also boast a 48MP primary unit. You may recall the way the teaser ads of OnePlus 6T used the words Fast and Speed extensively. However, we would expect OnePlus to feature OIS on the main sensor as well as the telephoto shooter just like its rivals have done on their triple shooters. The 5G-supporting version of the Pro variant is said to have a Snapdragon X50 modem under the hood. OnePlus has chosen to skip stereo speakers so far, even when nearly every other flagship comes with it, but it looks like the company has finally realized that a stereo speaker is pretty much a must have in this day and age. It is also expected that the smartphone will run Android 9 Pie operating system.

According to Android Central, that spec will include a Quad-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a jump up from the 60Hz offered by the majority of smartphones. The silhouette hints at the presence of a curved display and a bezel-less design, although it is hard confirm the same through video.

While the OnePlus 7 does resemble its predecessor, there are a couple of noteworthy changes on the upcoming flagship. It will be equipped with a 4000 mAh battery which supports 30W fast charge.

By all accounts it's the Pro model we've been getting excited about, because the standard OnePlus 7 is not thought to feature the same design improvements as the Pro. The last could turn out to be the 5G enabled device from OnePlus, but this is yet to be confirmed.
