The Masters: Tiger Woods' winning putt to claim 15th major title

William Hill have had to shell out after Tiger Woods' shock, which is his first major championship victory in more than a decade.

It was the U.S. golfing icon's 15th major in all - and fifth win at Augusta - but the first time he has clinched one of golf's big four prizes since 2008.

Woods, 43, overturned a two-shot deficit heading into the final round at Augusta National as he carded a two under score of 70 to finish on 13 under par overall - one shot ahead of the chasing trio of Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Xander Schauffele.

A United States gambler was probably as excited as Tiger Woods over his victory at the Masters.

The years since his last major victory have been drama-filled for Woods.

Tiger Woods has won a fifth Masters. Impossibly, ridiculously, Tiger Woods is back on top in golf again, with his fused back, his pile of lost years and his talent somehow back from the dead. From the sex scandal that ended his marriage, to the four back operations that culminated in a spinal fusion two years ago, he has made headlines for all the wrong reasons.

They say the Masters starts on the second nine on Sunday, and this year didn't disappoint, especially with the arrival of the promised rain.

It capped one of the most incredible sporting comebacks of all time.
