Boeing Has Grounded All Boeing 737 Max Planes Worldwide Over Safety Fears

The person said that under the victim´s Jewish faith, no funeral could be held until his remains were returned, and the six-month delay was stressing the victim´s family.

Boeing suspended deliveries of its 737 MAX aircraft on Thursday but continues to produce its single-aisle jets at full speed.

The relationship between the carrier and Boeing soured after the manufacturer pointed to maintenance issues and human error at Lion as the underlying cause, even though the planes pilots had been battling a computerized system that took control following a sensor malfunction.

Montreal-based Air Canada has said it operated seventy-five 737 MAX flights daily out of a total schedule of approximately 1,600 flights system-wide. On Wednesday, US regulators joined the global chorus by grounding the plane, citing evidence showing the Ethiopian Airlines flight may have experienced the same problem as the plane that went down five months ago off Indonesia.

"If you don't have enough room to recover or you don't understand what's going on, it's too late and you're in the ground and that's probably what's happened", he said.

"The deadly Ethiopian Airlines crash and President Trump grounding all Boeing 737 Max planes has had investors". 'Boeing is an incredible company they are working very very hard right now, and hopefully they'll very quickly come up with the answer, but until they do the planes are grounded'. Investigators examining that crash are looking at whether software created to prevent a stall might have automatically pushed the plane's nose down repeatedly.

USA bank Citi said it expected the grounding to eat into the profits of Southwest Airlines, which operates the world›s biggest 737 MAX fleet, leaving the carrier facing a plane shortage and likely passenger compensation costs. "We are making all the necessary efforts to identify the cause of the accident", Ethiopian Minister of Transport Dagmawit Moges told reporters in Addis Ababa.

The only Boeing 737 MAX from Kazakhstan is registered with SСAT Airlines.

Southwest and American are the two largest domestic owners of 737 Max 8 and 9 jets, although they make up less than 5 percent of Southwest's fleet and less than 3 percent for American.

Helane Becker, an airlines analyst with the Cowen Research financial services company said if the planes are grounded for a long time, ticket prices could rise because there will be fewer seats for sale if demand remains steady. All 189 people onboard were killed.

"Abiy Ahmed & [Trump] in a phone call today shared their condolences to the people of both countries for the loss of lives in the fatal Flight 302", which crashed on Sunday minutes into its flight to Nairobi, Mr Ahmed said on Twitter.

Travel insurance companies expect a record number of claims from travellers whose flights scheduled on the Max planes have been cancelled.
