"After speaking with her little sister, Joycelyn paused from the seemingly prepared script and was able to share her love for her family. Tell me", King said.
He also said he never held a woman against her will and denied claims he has a harem or cult of women and said that's just another lie about him concocted by bitter exes or others out for money. The couple also said they have not spoken to their daughter for two years. King has one year left in her contract, with a salary estimate of $6 million a year, according to the outlet.
King said later on "CBS This Morning" that while Kelly had promised to not be in the room during her sit-down with the women, he walked in later and made himself known by coughing.
Kelly has suggested that the parents of both women handed them over to him - a charge the families have denied.
Kelly's next hearing in the child support case is on March 13 and his next court date on the sex abuse charges is March 22, Reuters revealed. Clary also claimed that her parents tried to get her to participate in sex videos with Kelly in order to black mail him.
Kelly has denied all wrongdoing in the most recent allegations.
The woman said she was assaulted at a hotel in 2001 and had an abusive relationship with R. Kelly for years.
"I could see him getting more heated, he was upset with me about some of the questions, that's ok, he was a little irritated, that's ok", said King.
"They said, because if they ever have to blackmail him, what they're trying to do now, they can use it against him, which is exactly what they're doing", she continued.
"If you get someone who is ranting and raving, I would never let that kind of person ever do an interview", he said.
A primetime special on King's 80-minute interview with Kelly airs Friday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
Kelly discussed his current financial situation in the latest installment of a CBS This Morning interview*.* The show's host, Gayle King, asked the emotional musician about his income.
"Okay, then", Clary said. "I just can't do circus acts", Kramer said, adding that her daughter couldn't watch the entire interview because "when he jumped up, she remembered the rage".
"I'm very exhausted of all of the lies", Kelly said.
Timothy Savage and his wife, Jonjelyn, first went public with their daughter's relationship with Kelly in a 2017 BuzzFeed article and appeared in the explosive Lifetime documentary Surviving R. Kelly.
He said: "Quit playing, I didn't do this stuff". This is all fking lies for money, and if you can't see that, you're ignorant and you're stupid as f**k, because you want to be. King brought up these comments, noting that she spoke with Clary's father one day prior.
"I did worry at some points that he might accidentally hit me, because he was so angry that he was flailing", she said.
