Other points in favor of Huawei's new smartphone are its lightness and the fact that even when folded it is only 11 millimeters thick.
Oppo VP Brian Shen posted on Chinese microblogging website Weibo four images of a prototype of its foldable smartphone that looks more identical to Huawei's Mate X than the Samsung Galaxy Fold. Unlike the Galaxy Fold, the Mate X has the screen on the outside, resulting in a thinner design (11mm).
Hot on the heels of the reveal of Samsung's Galaxy Fold, Huawei announced its foldable display smartphone, the Mate X.
