Former Wahoo Joe Harris Wins NBA Three-Point Shootout

One of the most anticipated events in this year's NBA All-Star Weekend is the 3-Point Contest on All-Star Saturday Night, for one simple reason: the Curry Brothers are coming home and are going up against each other while eight more sharpshooters look to spoil their party and take home the trophy.

The All-Star Game is in Charlotte this year, which is Curry's hometown due to his father Dell playing 10 seasons with the Hornets.

The "moneyball" is always the key piece of the 3-point shootout, and with the quality of the field in this year's contest, they might just decide the victor.

Making all five of his shots from the "money rack" in the NBA All-Star Three Point Contest wasn't good enough for Suns guard Devin Booker to advance past the first round. Harris scored a 26 in the final round, as Curry failed to eclipse the winning mark with the ball in his hands last.

"I'm definitely leaning one way", Dell Curry said.

Brooklyn Nets hotshot Joe Harris gets one over Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry.

Before the actual contest kicked off, Steph Curry made a bet between him and Seth that the loser of the competition would have to pay for the family's game tickets for the rest of their careers.

This is the second time Curry has lost the coveted 3-point contest.

"I think I was lucky to be the first guy to shoot", Harris said. But it was just. and seeing my dad behind the bench and the whole family up in the crowd was cool.
