Everyone else is talking about Anthony Davis potentially being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, so LeBron James might as well get in on the action.

The Celtics are reportedly not on the list of teams Davis would be willing to sign a long-term deal with. The Celtics have urged New Orleans to hold off moving Davis until this summer when they can trade for him, the report says.

"I'm on my way to being myself again", said James, who connected on seven of 12 shots from the field and became the fifth player in National Basketball Association history to pass 32,000 points for his career.

The Pelicans have lost seven of their past 10 games and slid to 13th in the west at 23-30, 5.5 games behind the Clippers.

Meanwhile, New Orleans probably isn't getting a better offer for Davis, even if the Celtics are unwilling to include the best of their draft picks. The trade deadline will pass Thursday, so those "LeBron's going to trade you" chants should die down after that.

A trade that effects the end-of-bench players, guys like Brad Wanamaker, Guerschon Yabusele or Semi Ojeleye, won't make or break the Celtics in terms of team success.

Boston's plan to pursue Davis remains unaffected by whatever decision Irving might make in summer free agency, league sources said.

Lowry appeared unaffected by a report that the Raptors had offered him to the Memphis Grizzlies as part of a trade package for Mike Conley and Marc Gasol.

The Lakers made its first move before the deadline trading young wing Svi Mykhailiuk and a second round pick for Detroit Pistons wing Reggie Bullock.

It's a tough time to be anyone on the Los Angeles Lakers other than LeBron James.

Despite this, the Pelicans are looking for more as they have allegedly told Magic Johnson they want to be "overwhelmed" in the potential deal. Alec Burks, who has been linked to recent trade talks, added 21 for Cleveland.

The Pelicans are being especially careful with Anthony Davis.

The 25-year-old Davis is averaging a career-high 29.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks in 41 games this season while earning $25.4 million.
