National Football League slates Chiefs, Chargers game for Mexico City

The dates, kickoff times and venues for each of the four scheduled games in the United Kingdom will be announced in the spring with the full National Football League schedule. Exact schedules have not yet been announced.

The Steelers last played internationally in 2013, when the Vikings defeated them, 34-27, at Wembley Stadium in London.

The NFL will stage four games in London and one in Mexico City next season, with the Jaguars, Chargers, Rams, Raiders and Buccaneers serving as hosts.

A reunion between Chicago Bears star Khalil Mack and the Oakland Raiders will take place in London as they square off across the Atlantic, while the Jacksonville Jaguars will play their annual United Kingdom game against AFC South rivals the Houston Texans.

This season's Mexico City game between the Rams and the Chiefs was moved to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum due to the poor field conditions at Estadio Azteca.

The Jaguars - owned by Shad Khan, who also owns Fulham FC of the English Premier League - especially are used to worldwide play.

Major League Baseball plays its first games in London on June 29-30, when the World Series champion Boston Red Sox host the New York Yankees in a two-game series at London's Olympic Stadium. This will mark the seventh year in a row the Jags have played in London.

Dates for the global contests next season have not been finalized.
