Duchess Catherine quizzed on the Queen's appetite for pizza

Kate Middleton recently paid a visit to the Royal Opera House's costume department.

During her visit to the King Henry's Walk Garden in the London borough of Islington this morning, Kate Middleton met with garden volunteers, painted bird boxes with kids and helped schoolchildren make pizzas in the garden kitchen.

Francis, a mill owner, ran William Lupton & Company with his three brothers. Dressed in a regal purple suit by Oscar de la Renta, the duchess was seen arriving at the venue with a big smile on her face.

Princess Charlotte has developed an interest in ballet after being given a "little introduction" by a member of the Royal Opera House, the Duchess of Cambridge has disclosed.

Middleton also had the chance to watch the rehearsal of Royal Ballet Principal Dancers Lauren Cuthbertson, Laura Morera, and Vadim Muntagirov.

The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Costume Department at the @RoyalOperaHouse today to learn more about their use of textiles, as well as the commissioning of fabrics, design and craftsmanship involved.

During the tour, 37-year-old appeared fascinated as she was shown how the costumes are dyed, handpainted and stained.

During a walkabout ahead of visits with the two respective organizations, Markle spoke to fans and revealed that she is due in late April or early May, as per HELLO!.

With the demise of Dublin designer Orla Kiely's line, which was one of Kate's favourite, there is an opening for a Irish brand as her preferred choice, to complement the work of Galway-born hatmaker Philip Treacy, whose pieces have adorned the heads of every single senior royal for years, including Queen Elizabeth.

"She said her pregnancy had gone so quickly", one young mom reportedly told People.
