Player of the game: Baker Mayfield

Baker Mayfield fined $10,026 for lewd gesture during touchdown celebration against Bengals

In the biggest game of his National Football League career, Baltimore Ravens rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson is already making big plays.

A month after that game, rookie Lamar Jackson took over at quarterback, the defense stiffened, and the Ravens used a 5-1 streak to move past Pittsburgh into first place. The brief celebration gesture appeared to show Mayfield pretending to "expose his privates".

The celebration also came before Mayfield later hilariously threw shade at his former coach Hue Jackson, who now works for the Bengals.

The Browns are eliminated from the playoffs, even if they win against the Ravens.

The Browns finished the season 3-2-1 in the division, and established themselves as a team to be reckoned with in the AFC North.

The Browns rallied from a 17-7 second quarter deficit to keep the game in doubt until the final minutes. The other two times it happened? Humphrey was challenged in the secondary and struggled against a talented Cleveland receiving core, including tight end David Njoku, who boxed him out for a 42-yard gain late in the third quarter. The best record the Browns can finish with is 8-7-1 which would not be enough for Cleveland to punch a ticket to the postseason. That gave him 27 for the season, one more than Russell Wilson and Peyton Manning, who had shared the record. Overall, the Ravens rushed for 179 yards in the first half.

All the Ravens had to do to make the playoffs was beat the Browns. However the officials blew the play dead because the call on the field was touchdown. The problem was, it cost Peppers a fumble recovery for a touchdown that would've pulled the Browns to within 20-14 just before the half.

Officials reviewed the play as they do all scoring plays and determined Jackson did not break the plane of the end zone with the ball.

Although he had already connected on four field goals, Justin Tucker was mentally preparing himself for a very long, hurried fifth attempt as he watched the Browns scramble downfield on their final drive.

Breshad Perriman, the Raven's 2015 first-round pick, was cut by Baltimore on September 1, and made the Ravens pay on the Browns' second drive.

Mayfield also dropped a flawless 38-yard strike over the shoulder of Antonio Callaway on the four-play drive.
