As to important specification numbers, most Gladiators will have a 5,800-pound gross vehicle weight rating with Rubicon models getting heavier-duty rear springs that bumps their GVWR to 6,250 pounds. Mopar kit like door bars, lift kits and a glut of "lifestyle" mods like bike racks and suchlike.
Depending on the grade, the Gladiator can be equipped with an infotainment system centred around a 5.0-, 7.0- or 8.4-inch touchscreen.

Gladiator Overland and Rubicon models share an available three-piece body-colour hardtop option, offering a unique, premium appearance, while a black three-piece hardtop, available on Sport and Rubicon models and Standard on Overland, offers even more options for open-air driving. The frame is steel, as is the loadbay, but the body panels and doors are aluminium. There's large navigation screen at the top of the center console; climate and audio controls are below along with four-wheel-drive switches and levers. Likewise, it will be offered with two transfer cases: the NV241 Command-Trac with a 2.72:1 low-range ratio or the NV241OR Rock-Trac with the rock-crawling 4.00:1 low-range ratio. That uses heavy-duty third-gen Dana 44 front and rear axles with a "4LO" ratio of 4:1. In top Rubicon trim, it offers an 11.1-inch (282-mm) ground clearance, an approach angle of 43.6 degrees, breakover angle of 20.3 degrees, and departure angle of 26 degrees. It has fully removable soft and hard tops, doors and a folding windshield. In the back, the rear seats fold up to reveal optional lockable storage spaces and fold down for more load space. At 218 inches from bumper to bumper, the Gladiator splits the difference between the short- and long-bed versions of the Chevy Colorado crew cab. Towing capacity is rated at 3470kg. The 2020 Gladiator will hit dealerships in Q2 next year. It's confirmed for Europe, too, but expected to come later in the same year.
