LFO Singer Devin Lima Dead at 41

Devin, who had surgery to remove a tumour last October, started a comeback with Brad past year before falling ill.

LFO are known for their hits "Summer Girls", "Girl on TV" and "Every Other Time".

His family confirmed the news to TMZ.

Lima's mother, Filomena Lima, told Us Weekly he died after a 13-month battle with cancer.

The group had been planning to tour earlier this year, but it was then cancelled after doctors found a football-sized tumour on Devin's adrenal gland.

Devin Lima (born Harold Lima) was one of the singers in the popular pop trio LFO. He shared that Lima had the tumor and his kidney removed during his operation, but doctors were anxious that Lima still had cancerous cells in his body. "But he asked me to send you his love and gratitude for all the love and prayers you guys have sent his way".

"I wish we had better news to share", Fischetti said in the 2017 video.

"Our whole LFO team is distraught over this and we want nothing more than to see Devin back on stage doing what he does best but, unfortunately, LFO is at the bottom of the list of things that Devin needs to accomplish to get back to normalcy in his life", she wrote at the time. Bandmate Rich Cronin died from leukaemia in 2010. "No one has a stronger body, mind or soul, and if anybody can defeat this, it's Devin". He was first diagnosed in 2005.

It was reported at the time that Lima would also undergo chemotherapy and radiation treatment. His last single with LFO, titled "Perfect 10", was released in 2017.
