The resellers have also started pre-orders in the country, and detailed a few launch offers.

The Apple iPad Pro 11-inch and its new best friend, the Apple Pencil 2, enter the pantheon of iFixit teardowns. The new 11-inch iPad Pro sports a 29.45Wh (watt-hour) battery, which is a small downgrade compared to the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which has a 30.8Wh battery. They carry forward the same 120Hz refresh rates.

The new 12.9-inch iPad Pro features an advanced Liquid Retina display that goes edge to edge. The refresh rates on both the screens are 120Hz, and the thickness of both the models is nearly 5.9mm.

It also has six cores for graphics. The new SoC has more than 10 billion transistors. The 1TB variant of iPad Pro 11-inch will cost Rs 1,53,900.

Powering both the models of iPad Pro 2018 is Apple's own A12X Bionic 7nm chipset. This allows for the implementation of machine learning to help you access UI elements and apps in an enhanced manner. Today, iFixit is taking a look inside the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and if you were hoping for a different outcome, we're sorry to say that you're probably going to be disappointed.

There are no big surprises in terms of components used: There's that super-fast Apple A12X Bionic chip, 64GB of Toshiba flash storage, and 4GB of RAM. The iPad Pro also gets Face ID, Animoji and Memoji as well.

For the WiFi+Cellular variant, the 64GB base variant of the iPad Pro with 11-inch display will start at Rs 85,900. The device uses USB Type-C for charging and data transfers.

It's noteworthy that the new iPad Pro does not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and there is also no Type-C to 3.5mm dongle in the box. Published Monday, the iPad Pro teardown reveals that underneath the new gadgets' slick surfaces lies a tap-happy array of sensors, smaller battery, the usual gluefest and a field of magnets. Additionally, the iPad Pro can act as a power bank and charge your iPhone using a USB Type-C to Lighting cable.

The iPad Pro now has a 12MP rear camera and 7MP TrueDepth front camera like the iPhone series. Apple, however, continues to cite 10 hours of battery life for the new device. There is a four-speaker setup on the iPad Pro for sound including two woofers and two tweeters.
