Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan starrer "Thugs Of Hindostan" released on Thursday amid much fanfare. However, a few of the initial reviews of the film aren't in its favour and seem to be dispiriting the fans.
And while Thugs of Hindostan has set off fireworks at the box-office, the film has apparently failed to impress the film critics and audiences alike.
Although the film has not gone up to the mark and trade analyst Taran Adarsh has stated this film a totally disappointing.
"Thugs of Hindostan may reap the benefit of the holiday period + tremendous hype + impressive names in its cast..."
Aamir, who plays Firangi Mallah in the film has undergone a major transformation to justify the character. All that glitters is NOT gold... Holds true for #TOH. Some engrossing moments in the first hour, that's about it... "Taran Adarsh wrote on his Twitter,"#ThugsOfHindostan screen count... So Thugs Of Hindostan would be new for them. Screenplay is illogical, dialogues even more pathetic. "Big debacle!" shared a user on Twitter.
He however mentioned in a further tweet that Thugs of Hindostan may benefit from the holiday season, the hype it has managed to create and impressive star cast, but will find it hard to sustain its journey on the box office after the initial euphoria settles down.
When Aamir was told about the same, his reaction was that of eyeballs popping out, post which he said, "I personally believe that ticket price should be cheaper and cheaper so that a greater number of people can go and watch the film".
Though the trailer of Thugs of Hindostan intrigued the viewers and set hopes high, the reviews are contrary.
