The people who came in were injured, including the bleeding man who was pistol-whipped while trying to stop the shooter. He said the shooter acted alone and authorities are investigating possible motives.

Ms Megan Nixon said she was eating at a restaurant underneath the studio when she heard shooting and people running upstairs.

The shooting's two victims were identified as 61-year-old Dr. Nancy Van Vessem and 21-year-old Maura Binkley.

'Her dedication, caring, leadership, humanity, and experience made her one of the most respected, inspiring, and accomplished medical professionals in the state and country. "Without being aware, she was a mentor". She was in the class and thought she was going to die when the shooting broke out. "Even if we didn't agree on something, you knew she was operating from a position of protecting her patients".

In one instance, he was accused of slapping, grabbing and shaking a 19-year-old woman's backside at a Tallahassee apartment complex's swimming pool, but the case was not prosecuted.
