Bears-Vikings game moved to primetime

NFL flexes Vikings at Bears to Sunday night in Week 11; two other game times get changed

The Vikings-Bears game in Chicago is now the Sunday Night Football game on NBC.

The Vikings are now slated to have back-to-back Sunday night games.

NBC decided on Monday to flex the team's November 18 home game against the Vikings to 7:20 p.m. The Bears (5-3) and Vikings (5-3-1) sit atop the division through Week 9. The Jaguars (3-5) are tied for last in the AFC South while the Steelers (5-2-1) are ranked first in the AFC North. The goal as we go is to have a lot of those. The advantage is the Bears have the Lions coming up this Sunday, so they should be well prepared for film study.

The changes come under the league's primetime flexible scheduling element, which was implemented in 2006 and was modified in 2014 to allow the NFL to reschedule games between Weeks 5 and 17. But Nagy wasn't a part of that losing stretch, and the first-year head coach said the Bears aren't talking about those past struggles. "It's week by week, it's practice by practice".
