A single ticket sold in SC matched all numbers in the historic drawing to make the lucky holder of the ticket rich beyond belief. Those tickets matched four of the first five numbers and had the Megaball number.

There were more than 15.7 million winning tickets across the game's nine prize tiers in Tuesday's drawing.

One North Carolina mom won $1 million after buying her lottery ticket Monday before the Mega Millions numbers were even announced. Those 36 tickets matched the five white balls, but did not match the Mega Ball.

There is another opportunity to win some cash, Wednesday's Powerball jackpot is an estimated $620 million.

Four second-tier winning tickets worth $1 million each were sold in NY; three were sold in Florida; two each were sold in Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey and Virginia; and one each was sold in Arizona, Washington, D.C. Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. She was worth $1.8 billion from the chemical, real estate and manufacturing conglomerate, the magazine reported.
