Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have reportedly called it quits

However, Grande expressed via social media that she was having a hard time recently while she called off several appearances too.

Grande had been going through a rough patch recently, after her ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, died in September from a suspected drug overdose.

14, 2018, TMZ reported that the high-profile couple have mutually made a decision to split up and call off their engagement after five months of dating.

Ariana Grande has apparently split with fiancee Pete Davidson.

Grande started dating Pete Davidson in May, with the couple getting engaged shortly thereafter.

The couple reportedly decided that this wasn't the right time for their relationship to take off in a significant way, but still have love for each other and aren't ruling out the possibility of re-igniting their relationship at some point in the future.

Grande also canceled her appearance on last month's "SNL" season premiere, citing "emotional reasons", according to Lorne Michaels.

A source also told US Weekly that Braun seemed "annoyed" while explaining Grande's absence, adding, 'He definitely seemed pissed/disappointed'. Since then, Grande had been spotted sporting a 3-carat, $100,000 engagement ring from Davidson and dining with him at romantic restaurants across New York City. TMZ was first to report the news. Neither has confirmed the breakup on social media.

Putting aside the Swimming rapper's death, Ariana also experienced one of Britain's great tragedies when a suicide bomber murdered 22 people at her show in Manchester a year ago.
