But the Duchess of Sussex sent social media into a spin this week when she reportedly breached royal protocol by - take a deep breath folks - closing her own vehicle door. She knows how to shut a vehicle door all by herself.

"First time I've seen an on-duty princess shut her own vehicle door", wrote one Twitter user.

Her sartorial choices have earned her comparisons with the woman who would have been her mother-in-law, Princess Diana, who also liked to look sharp.

Last week Markle also parted with protocol by closing her own auto door at the launch of a charity cookbook.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently attended the Coach Core awards at Loughborough University, where they chatted to Luke and Elliot Rainbird, who Meghan had previously met at another royal event.

Harry and Meghan's first stop in Brighton next Wednesday will be the iconic Royal Pavilion (pictured).

The Duchess of Sussex viewed artefacts which span 500 years and are displayed according to the exhibition's "voyaging, place-making and encounter" themes.

Meghan is also not concerned about her father's health due to the source claiming that, "Her mum would be the first to know if there was some serious health issue with her dad, and she would tell Meghan".

Not everyone was quite so taken with Meghan's door-closing gesture.

While Harry apparently finds Markle's fashion sexy, her style is definitely pushing the limits of what members of the royal family are usually allowed to wear. The theory went that Charles would then select and eat only one of the eggs. "This is nearly twice the 26 per cent who think she should dedicate herself to Royal duties".

On the other hand, with her latest appearance, The Duchess of Sussex has put rumours to rest as earlier it was suggested that she may be pregnant as her figure in the tight dress was quite visible.
