Nicki Minaj compares herself to Harriet Tubman

Tiffany Haddish Throws Shade At Fifth Harmony In Epic MTV VMAs 2018 Monologue

Nicki Minaj Slams Tiffany Haddish For Roasting Fifth Harmony On-Stage At The VMAs

Jauregui, one of the group's former members, took to her Twitter account Tuesday and wrote that she was "waiting for the day" that supporting "one woman" will not mean insulting another.

This, of course, contradicts Nicki's assertions that "Spotify had to teach me a lesson" for releasing certain Queen songs early on Queen Radio as the show appeared on a rival service.

The queen quickly transitioned into the Notorious B.I.G. sampling-"Barbie Dreams".

"I put my blood sweat & tears in writing a dope album only for Travis Scott to have Kylie Jenner post a tour pass telling ppl to come see her & Stormi", Minaj wrote, referencing an previous Instagram post Jenner shared, which said: "me and storm ready for tour".

Many fans slammed the rapper for comparing herself to Tubman, who helped free slaves through the Underground Railroad before the Civil War.

Prior to performing on last night's 2018 MTV VMAs, Minaj was interviewed by TMZ about the controversial Tubman comments.

What did you think about Tiffany Haddish and Kevin Hart's presentation?

"Nah Harriet Tubman was a real Queen who inspired her people to do something if anything you're a scullery maid dumbing down the masses". "I said what I said". She [Tubman] said she could've rescued more slaves had they known they were slaves.

"No, no, I am Harriet Tubman".

And she also claimed that she is responsible for getting streaming numbers to count on the Billboard charts. "I said what I said", Minaj wrote. Minaj came on stage - after twerking for the audience - to accept the award for her "Chun-Li" music video and gave the 38-year-old amusing woman a taste of her own medicine. Nicki began making the accusations after it was reported by Billboard that Nicki's Queen was bested in its first-week sales by Travis Scott's Astroworld in its second week.
