The first phone of the year comes out in the spring and a "T" variant later in the fall. OnePlus will also sell unlocked versions of the phone in the USA, which will be able to use other carriers such as AT&T.

OnePlus will be launching the 6T in October through its usual online portal, reports CNET.

It also an added point for success that T-Mobile, as well as AT&T, are both compatible with the unlocked versions of OnePlus phones. However, there was no reliable report about its sibling OnePlus 6T's launch, until now.

While some reports suggested OnePlus could launch the 6T in November, a new report has revealed that OnePlus 6-successor could break the covers earlier than that. Instead, there will be another T-Mobile-specific model that will be optimized for the carrier's network. The smartphone will also be sold via T-Mobile stores.

It'll be the first OnePlus phone to be sold by a U.S. carrier. Models in the face of which the giants Apple and Samsung can't compete.

The Oppo R17, a likely base for the OnePlus 6T. The price isn't finalized, however, so take that with a pinch of salt. It also has a huge following in the United States.

The OnePlus 6T is not official, but it seems like a foregone conclusion. There haven't been any solid leaks or rumors so far, but we do know that the internals will mostly remain the same.

If the OnePlus 6T is indeed being planned for October, we should see OnePlus start teasing the device in the coming weeks. And the camera is always a good area for improvement too. All three companies sometimes use each others designs, and OnePlus has been known to use Oppo's designs for a while now. This means the phone will support the telecom operator's 600 megahertz band which is said to be faster. This could possibly stop the launch, but since OnePlus is a small firm it might fly under the radar.
