Paris Jackson is recovering after having surgery for a golf ball-size abscess.

She added that that if an abscess pops, "you can go septic and die". In the post, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson's daughter said, "So long story short, I had surgery yesterday".

"It was definitely the most pain that I'd ever been through in my life, considering I'm covered head to toe in tattoos", she said, according to People. Paris and her crew played at the Fuck Cancer's fundraising event in Canyon Sessions where Paris' grandmother was in attendance. "And I'm so relieved that she didn't hate it", in reference to her grandmother, who actually showed up for the concert. "I'm on a lot of meds right now to kind of get me through the pain of the procedure".

According to WebMD, an abscess is a tender mass generally surrounded by a colored area from pink to deep red that is filled with pus, bacteria and debris and often caused by infections. She later told fans she should not have even left bed Saturday!

"F-. I can't believe my grandma made it to our second live show ever".

The medical professionals explained to her that she could've gone under anesthesia for the operation, but ultimately, she chose to do it while she was awake - a fearless choice.

Paris also wrote about her grandma's attendance on her Instagram account. "I'm so happy we got to play for you and to play for such an incredible cause".

As previously reported, Paris will join her brother Prince and her late father's brothers Jackie, Marlon and Tito at the Michael Jackson Diamond Birthday Celebration on August 29 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Katherine Jackson's husband Joe Jackson died in June this year at the age of 89.
