The White House hit back angrily Friday against accusations by an African-American former employee that President Donald Trump is a racist who repeatedly used the N-word during the making of his reality TV show.
But, as NPR reported, the very section that Manigault told Martin to read actually was the part that contradicted her claims.
Omarosa worked with Trump on The Apprentice and followed him into the White House, drawing an annual salary of $179,700, was married at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC, and brought her bridal party to the White House for photos.
Another claim that was made in Omarosa's book is that she was offered a job and a $15,000 a month hush money payment to keep quiet about her time in the White House.
Omarosa says she has dirt on Donald Trump. and it's racial.
Trump has faced allegations of racism and misogyny for years. She also calls her former boss a "racist, misogynist and bigot", and says one of the reasons she was sacked was because it was known she was trying to acquire the Apprentice tape.
Manigault Newman also writes in her book that Trump campaign adviser and daughter-in-law Lara Trump offered her a $15,000-a-month hush-money contract after she was sacked by the White House, the Washington Post reported.
The controversy created by Manigault Newman's tell-all, which comes out next week, will not be the first time the White House has been forced to contend with sensational claims in a book. The campaign would have tasked her with "diversity" outreach.
More details: Omarosa claims that Trump had a tanning bed installed in the White House residence, per the Post. The two remain in contact, according to people familiar with the relationship. "He hated him. He never explained why, but now I believe it was because Obama was black". "A$3 nd even worse that the media would not give her a platform, after not taking her seriously when she had only positive things to say about the President during her time in the administration". Since Trump was ever the germophobe, I was shocked he appeared to be chewing and swallowing the paper.
She writes, she felt a "growing realization that Donald Trump was indeed a racist, a bigot and a misogynist".
