It's been two years since the last Honor Note device was launched, but fans can now look forward to another massive phablet from the Huawei sub-brand with the Honor Note 10, which was announced in China today. The phone comes powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset, which we earlier saw on smartphones such as the Honor 10, Honor View 10, Huawei P20 and P20 Pro.
Hardcore (mobile) gamers shouldn't worry about overheating, though, as this hot new hero device promises to stay nice and cool at all times thanks to some neat liquid cooling tricks. "Unveiled a few hours ago, the Honor Note10 is the latest device with this new gaming tech, and it packs a 6.95" display and some decent specs for, as is common with Chinese phones, an affordable price. The phone has been launched in three storage variants - 3GB RAM+32GB internal storage for Rs 11,999, 4GB RAM+64GB internal storage for Rs 13,999, and 4GB RAM+128GB internal storage for Rs 17,999.
The fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear side, and the device is backed by a beefy 5000mAh battery. Thus, it will be interesting to see how the Honor Play, will perform. The device also features a 3.5mm jack for audio connectivity, and a hybrid dual-SIM slot that lets you have either two SIM cards simultaneously, or one SIM card and a microSD card for storage expansion. It also has Huawei's GPU turbo technology. A Type-C USB port is included on the bottom of the Honor Note 10, while the phone comes with Bluetooth 4.2 LE. The hardware button for the Double Turbo feature can be used as a shutter when using the camera app.
The Honor Note 10 will be available in both phantom blue and magic night black. The usual AI software for scene recognition and other AI features are at hand.
The Huawei Honor Note 10 was teased for such a long time, it nearly feels like a relief to finally see it go official. In line with the latest trends, the phone has thin bezels that house the 13MP front shooter and a chin bezel which sports the logo. The display comes with resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio.
For a device that carries such impressive features and hardware specifications, it is modestly priced at $410 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model. It is expected that the smartphone will come with AI-based features and will launch in the global markets at the pre-IFA event on August 30.
