Origin Access Premier subscription tier announced

grubb [11:24 AM] EA brings cloud gaming and day-one games to its subscription service

EA is high in the sky with cloud gaming and newly announced 'Origin Access Premiere'

This includes EA's premiere titles like Madden NFL19, Federation Internationale de Football Association 19 and Anthem if you pay for the subscription up front. According to the press release sent out by the publisher just minutes ago, the subscription will cost $99.99 per year or $14.99 monthly.

During EA Play 2018, EA detailed that the company will be providing a new premium option for its Origin Access service on PC called Origin Access Premier, which will provide players with the ability to play EA's new titles in full as they arrive. It'll bring release and pre-release access to its new games, and not just its archive of games.

Origin may not be the biggest game-player in the PC gaming storefront marketplace, but with new efforts like Origin Access Premier, maybe Electronic Arts can move the needle for themselves to take a larger share of the very large PC platform.

Madden NFL 19 new details have been revealed at EA Play 2018. Among those specifically singled out during the press conference were Federation Internationale de Football Association 19, BioWare's Anthem, and Madden NFL 19, which will mark the series' return to PC for the first time in more than a decade.

Basically, this more or less seems like EA's version of Xbox Game Pass. Then save 10% on other Origin digital purchases like Ultimate Team content.

For football fans, the announcement also carried huge news for those who are looking forward to the next Madden game. Dive into the action starting February 15, 2019 for Origin Access Premier members.
