Mystery pooper at New Jersey track revealed to be superintendent

Superintendent Charged With Pooping On High School Football Field

Kenilworth superintendent pooped on Holmdel track daily, cops say

Call it the case of the public super pooper.

Holmdel High School coaches were finding almost daily dumps by their fields and an investigation was started into the matter. School employees and police began monitoring the area.

The mystery man who had been defecating on a New Jersey high school football field was arrested after being caught in the act on surveillance video. Tramaglini, who lives nearby, was jogging on the field around 5:50 a.m. before he was arrested.

A New Jersey schools superintendent is facing public defecation charges after police said he was caught pooping near another school's track and football field.

In addition to defecating in public, he was charged with lewdness and littering. Not only was he the school superintendent, he is a former Hudson Valley resident.

Vito Gagliardi, a lawyer for the school board, told that Mr Tramaglini has been "highly regarded" during his three years as head of the local schools. Due to New Jersey state law, he can not be placed on unpaid leave unless he is indicted or faces tenure charges, according to the school district. Leaves can only be without pay if the person faces indictments or tenure charges, according to state law.

It is unclear why Mr Tramaglini allegedly did not use toilet facilities.
