The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 price in India has been set at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant. As for the 1GB RAM variant, the OS is Android Oreo Go Edition. We've seen a few manufacturers launch their first Android GO smartphones recently, and now we have ASUS launching the Zenfone Live L1, albeit only for the Indonesian market at this point. Ther Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 has also got its first major update bringing enhancements in security and camera departments inside the mid-range device. The key highlight phone is that it runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) aka Android Go out-of-the-box. Everything here is created to take up less space and use less bandwidth, as well as run on modest hardware.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 has a 5.99-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080) display with the new 18:9 aspect ratio.The screen-to-body ratio is 83 per cent with 403 PPI pixel density. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor at 1.8GHz with Adreno 509 GPU.

As for optics, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with a vertical dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 5 element lens, 80-degree view angle, PDAF and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor coupled with depth sensing technology for accurate bokeh shots. It even comes with face unlock feature.

The phone has been launched in three variants which are 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage for Rs 10,999, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage for Rs 12,999 and finally, 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage for Rs 14,999. The new ZenFone Max Pro M1 model is created to take on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro that is also one of the widely popular smartphones in the under Rs. 15,000 price bracket. The front selfie snapper has a 5 MP sensor. There is expected to be 16GB of inbuilt storage in the smartphone expandable up to 2TB (via microSD), with a 3000mAh battery powering the phone from underneath the hood. The new 6GB RAM variant will have a 16MP+5MP rear camera and 16MP front facing camera in comparison. It supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio and micro USB connectivity options. The Asus Zenfone Live L1 will be initially available in Indonesia in a couple of color options - Rose Pink, Midnight Black, Blue, and White.
