Lubomirski, who was just named Photographer of the Year at the Fashion Los Angeles Awards, has social media to thank for his new high-profile gig.
In the photographer's statement in regard to being chosen as the official wedding photographer for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, he said that he "could not be more thrilled or honored to photograph this historic occasion".
"It brings me such joy to be able to witness again, the next chapter in this wonderful love story".
Alexi Lubomirski, 42, who photographed the pair for their engagement, will be at Windsor Castle next month to take the official wedding shots, Kensington Palace announced.
The Royal Wedding Tea ($12) is a pretty floral blend that contains Chinese Mutan White tea buds, pink rosebuds and rose petals, and vanilla, almond and coconut extracts.

The couple have said they want the wedding to be "a big shared event" that is "modern, inclusive but still adhering to tradition", and they want "everyone" to be part of their big day. Official invitations have been sent out to members of the public, including Peterborough, Ont. -native Faith Dickinson, 15, who was one of 20 youth to receive a Diana Award a year ago for her "kindness, compassion and service".
The couple have been slowly sharing details of their day over the last few weeks, including who will be baking the cake and creating the floral displays.
TMZ report that she was accompanied by four bodyguards as she headed into the VFS Global UK Visa Application Centre on Thursday.
