Apple iOS 11.3 Update To Change The Smartphone Future

All you need to do is navigate to Settings General Software Update.

But some fans were left disappointed by the failure to unleash iOS 11.3 at the same time as the new iPad.

The introduction of ARKit with iOS 11 put augmented reality into the hands of hundreds of millions of iPhone and iPad users, making iOS the world's biggest AR platform. The last version only supported horizontal surfaces (e.g. floors and tables).

Messages: Your iPhone's messages are also getting a boost, too.

The software will also introduce four new Animoji: a lion, bear, dragon and skull. Health Records and Business Chats are only available in the a beta for now.

Apple is adding customer support conversations to Messages. This information will be accessible via a new privacy icon displayed when Apple will need your personal information to enable features, offer customization, etc.

Business Chat will launch with a handful of companies.

While the new "Music Videos" section was teased alongside iOS 11.3, it has gone live ahead of the update.

The update, iOS 11.3, is technically one of a dozen official updates to the iOS 11 operating system since it debuted in September.

You can get the new iOS update on the following gadgets. These can be found in Settings - Battery and are available for iPhone 6 and later.

The iPhone Battery Health feature is in beta.

You can also choose to disable Apple's controversial decision to throttle performance with old batteries. It also promised more visibility into battery health, which it has now delivered.

Incidentally, If you have the newer iPhone 8, 8 Plus or X models, a more advanced power management system is in place, which, Apple says, "more precisely allows iOS to anticipate and avoid an unexpected shutdown", resulting in a "less noticeable" impact on performance. "Health Records data is encrypted and protected with a passcode", the release said.

Chasing down medical records may be enough to give you a migraine. The option will start to show up for participating businesses (Home Depot, Marriott, and Wells Fargo are among a handful of early partners) when you search for them in Maps, Safari, or Spotlight Search on your iPhone.

Is this what your next Apple iPhone will look like?
