Kevin Love suffers loose tooth and possible concussion against Heat

Cleveland will take on a risky Hornets team, who has won the last four games and has two of their key players in Kemba Walker and Dwight Howard finishing out the season with great confidence, picking up a historic win over the Memphis Grizzlies last week. The scary incident occurred in the first quarter of last night's 79-98 loss to the Miami Heat.

They shot 30 percent in the half, just 9 percent - 1 for 11 - from the 3-point line and were an terrible 9 for 22 inside the paint. It's unclear whether or not he will play in Wednesday night's game again the Hornets.

Without an effective Love for most of the game, the Cavaliers just looked flat.

Love is only five games removed from a long absence following a procedure to fix his broken hand, missing six weeks with the injury.

He was averaging 20.3 points and 10 rebounds in his first four games.

James, who won two National Basketball Association titles with the Heat before returning to lead Cleveland to the 2016 crown, led the Cavs with 18 points.

It was great for Miami, ghastly for Cleveland.

Love suffered his injury when he tried to take a charge on Heat center Jordan Mickey, who knocked loose one of Love's front teeth. But, a team spokesperson told ESPN's Dave McMenamin that Love was showing some concussion-like symptoms at halftime.

Cleveland trailed by as many as 23 points, connecting on just 29-of-80 from the field and coughing up 15 turnovers for 21 Heat points.

The Pacers out-scored the Warriors 24-11 in the fourth quarter, handing them their sixth defeat in their last nine games. "I believe it was his tooth", Drew said.

Heat: Coach Erik Spoelstra was back with the team, two days after he and his wife Nikki's first child - Santiago Ray Spoelstra - was born. The only Cavs to play in all three meetings were James, J.R. Smith and Tristan Thompson. After road games at Atlanta and NY, the Heat then finish at home against Oklahoma City and Toronto.
