While Tata is tightipped about the eVision's mechanicals, er electricals, the auto is said to pack enough punch to hit a top speed of 200 Kph, with the nought to 100 sprint coming up in just 7 seconds. The vehicle has the capability to forecast service requirement as well.

It's also designed for full access by all members of the community, or as Renault says "people who can no longer drive, people who cannot drive yet or who are unable to drive". Europe will also get a diesel, though don't expect it to make it over to the States. The company plans to publish the best and "most spectacular" photos of the camouflaged e-tron from social networks on its promotional for the e-tron. That would mean a little less for the EPA, and according to Audi, it will be ready for long-distance driving after just 30 minutes connected to a 150-kW charger.

The European launch of the e-tron will now be "at the end of the year", Audi added, following tests with hundreds of development vehicles "under extreme conditions worldwide". The Audi e-tron prototype illustrates electrification with a specially developed design film. However, the EVision Sedan Concept is a design study at this point and the real emphasis is on the flexibility of the Omega platform to be modified to host electric powertrains, as well as the interior concept for Tata EVs of the future. It will be launching more than 20 electric cars and plug-in hybrids by 2025 - spread across all segments and concepts.

After seven years, Audi has pulled back the curtain on the new 2019 A6 sedan at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
