Apple's devices based on iOS 11.2.5 or macOS, are failing to identify the character, and users are getting trapped in an endless loop.
Staying true to its promise, Apple has released the iOS 11.2.6 to fix a odd bug that is causing the iPhone devices to crash, while making important messaging apps such as Messages, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger to freeze. The Telugu character was working as bug, and many iPhones were crashed due to this text bomb.
The company has announced that this released update is just to fix crashes occurred due to bug of Telagu language, with no notable update or extra feature. Also, the bug caused problems of the same nature on watchOS, tvOS, and macOS platforms, prompting Apple to accelerate the deployment of the fixes across the board.
Apple has not set a release date for AirPlay 2, but promised it later this year.
Users can now download the iOS 11.2.6 update for free by going to the Settings tabs, General, and then choose the Software Update option.
When Apple released iOS 11.3 developer beta 3 on Tuesday, one feature that had plenty of testers excited was missing: AirPlay 2. This update is available under into setting under software update.
"This update ... fixes an issue where using certain character sequences could cause apps to crash", Apple said on its update notes, adding the same patch will resolve a related problem also blamed on the Indian character bug.
