Even with the added tiers, gamers should be able to complete the pass in about the same amount of time as it took to get through season two (typically between 75 and 150 hours).

According to reports, players will be getting a chance to get their benefits up for Fortnite: Battle Royale as it returns after the maintenance process is done.

Epic is offering a new bundle that includes the Battle Pass and 25 tiers for 2,800 V-Bucks, a 40 percent discount. Epic said that players will now be able to "paint" those pieces in more quickly, which should be particularly handy when you're trying to throw up a hasty defense or build a stairway to heaven. The third season of the game is the next big update that's expected, and it will introduce an entirely new way to play it: in space.

It costs 950 V-Bucks which is around £8. Season 3 Battle Pass comes with 100 tiers that they can unlock, giving a little structure to the season along the way.

Pete Nub, technical lead of Fortnite: Battle Royale at Epic Games, confirmed back blings will have no effect on actual gameplay but instead will be purely cosmetic. Once you've landed on all three of them you'll unlock an achievement that will allow you to level up the Battle Pass by completing this challenge. The breakdown provided totaled to 30 more items compared to the last season, indicating that as the free-to-play game becomes more popular, there'll be more enhancements to come. Making the system weekly allows more players to take advantage of it.

In addition to the inclusion of a massive inventory update, they did provide a slight update concerning their crafting upgrade delay.

The fourth and final update is potentially the most subtle, and will only affect the Battle Royale mode for now. The full patch notes for version 3.0 aren't available yet, but these sneak previews gives fans an idea of what to expect in what should be another exciting season for Epic Games' early access title.
